Happening less friday to wishful weekend

Friday a.k.a free(dom) day which brings the reminiscences of TGI Friday(Thanks God Its Friday)...was dull and wellingtons' any time rain was another add-in to the already boring friday to make it more boring. Max you can do was like get your beer and enjoy your evening with movies.

It wouldnt have been a surprise if my saturday would have been much the same but it wasnt meant to be. Rather we had a pleasant bonding session with my room mates ( every one should know i am a very friendly person ...:P) though this had to happen over some beers which i had managed to carry over on the way despite the rain..

We laughed over out past few weeks how we had maintained distance between ourselves thinking some one would break the ice.If not that we had the ice breaker "RUGBY" come in middle of the discussion which happens to be national game of the country. We actually learnt how it is played and better now all of us atleast know the points systems and foul scenarios :P...
To add to it the next day's match had to be the All Blacks v\s australia ( the number 2 team versus the number 1 team ) which added to our excitement..(as goes the saying when in rome do as the romans do...so in NZ go the way all blacks go....Plus they are the source of inspiration for drinking...

I wasnt that high but some how i managed to sleep off infront of the TV and the next moment i realise it was the next day which was shining on my face( as i had not closed the screens...) But as the saying goes...a lazy person can acheive anything when his laziness is challenged. I didnt pull the screens rather pulled an extra sheet over myself to actually keep the shinning sun from tanning my already tanned skin...Doesnt it know already tanned persons don't like the extra bit.

It was the day when we were supposed to go the diwali mela being organised here in one of the big auditoriums here ...I along with the flat mates decided to pay a visit. Back of my mind I had an idea that it will be boring only ...Yeah to some extent but it was fun too...It felt nice when i had my whole heart-ed laughs at some of the performances which were so humourous you might not have had laughed at priyadarshan's movie even...There was this bollywood singing item where the singer literally sang worse than the our college folks who sing after drinking. But i do admire his courage for atleast being able to stand up on the stage and do so... The highlight of the show was the belly dancing which was performed by not one of the sleak-est dancers but they were really voluptuous figure...I was just amazed how they could move their body in such a fashion ..( it is really a compliment).....the only serious part was the history saga by some marathi stage folks who depicted Shivaji's triumph over Mohd. Afzal... ( just in case i might require it in the KBC seat if i ever make it ...

Thats not the end to the week yet rather that was a start when we all sat down for that excellent 80 minutes of play by the all blacks....The adrenaline running and the beer trying to settle it down gave a much better feeling. Finally i realized how much i liked rugby ...not that much to play that game and break my some part of the body...

But finally i had spent my weekend enjoying...hopefully rest of the weekends be like this...But sadly the rugby world cup gets over next week with the finals between mighty All Blacks versus the un-predictable french...

Finally Revived...

I am stuck in my first ever on site--- for those who might be new to my work culture ....i have been on site for last of my 2.5 years working in gurgaon and noida but was on client's site...till date i haven't seen the office that dispenses my salary every 25-30th of the month.
Ne way after loads of luck and persuasion and hard dimag ( "reck language ") going into into here I am in New zealand probably known as "Aotearoa" in this part of the world.

But i am kind of not liking the sudden change from the fast paced life in India to the slow moving life in here. Here in normal week days shops close in early ...seems like every day i walk into a grave yard after 7 in the evening. The roads are so clean ...people tend to walk barefoot here ..In India if u walk barefoot ..people think either u are a beggar or u are out of ur mind to try that stint over there...

In India i loved the people who after drinking could talk on ne topic be it from anna hazare's strike to Raza's 2G scam to anything that u can throw at them..But here on weekdays people dont have time to talk to you....let alone to share a drink in a common place....These are kinda life for me as of now...May be i have grown or i was left behinf when the world cliamed itself to have gone forward.

Good things the weather ...bloody cool and i havent broken a sweat till date ..despite runnign 5-6 kms a day when the weather permits it and walking 2 kms back and forth to my office.

To sum it up i miss my India...This might be my first and last on site ...I hate living in some place so long ..haan but NZ as a visiting place is great of some on wants to visit it for holidaying ..u are always invited ...
