When was the last time i formatted a PC/laptop..hazy memories which are as good as none.This time it was my company laptop which had windows versions stating it had an counterfeit edition of windows as it was missing the genuine certificate.Despite all odds i was working with the laptop as i was too lazy to get a cd and format it plus i had lost my practice of formatting which i had gained mastery over during my college year...i used to remember the keys for diff versions also..[:P]
But the D -day came when my cpu percentage was always 100pc and no application even buzzed on the system.So i was unable to use my laptop for 2 days around....since i couldn't find a xp cd.
This was a blessing in disguise as i could avoid work for a while since i had the best excuse in the world... and even if xp was installed where was i supposed to find the hp drivers...since download is prohibited at my work place.
Because of my hardworking nature[:P] i was bored in 2 days of flunking work and in serious search of a xp cd and hp drivers ..and goodness me my company mate said they have both of the things in the company hostel which he can give me in the evening itself but the thing was that i had come to the hostel as lot of guys in the company wanted to meet me(it seems...as if i was a masterly piece crafted by GOD in his leisure :P ) to which i agreed.When i returned from the hostel i was in inebriated state but i was so excited that i had all the resources to start my formatting career, i sat down to format my laptop which normally took 15 minutes to start , purely no backup and 100 percent cpu usage ( so efficient).
After formatting i felt as if i was back in college days where i used to format my pc more often then i ran my java programs[:P]. I reformatted it just for the heck of it again...
Now my laptop has kaspersky antivirus and the starting time has reduced to 1 minute and the cpu percentage is never more than 10pc i guess...
The first i did in the morning was to make a copy of the windows bootable cd so that i am never in the not-able-to-work position ever again...though i had lot of fun in those two days..
Now that i am so vella.... that i have blogged twice in two days... getting ready for third by today evening only i guess

Hahaha, sale, These MS guys will get hold of you someday.....for pirating, and they will have to brainwash you, since you remember all the keys... :P
It's really a pain, formatting the HD. All the drivers, softwares, backups, ah, I wish, someday, we dont have to care about all these....May be Google's Chrome is the solution....
